  • 30 years of experience in the industry” to “40+ years of experience in the industry

  • Darren’s love of cycling didn’t end when he had to start earning a living after high school. He moved to Seattle and secured a job at the largest bicycle shop in the Northwest, Gregg’s Greenlake Cycle. After a few years of fine tuning his customer service skills in the high volume retail sales of Seattle’s destination shop, Darren’s intuition and highly competitive spirit took over and he launched Northwest Velo Sales in 1992.

  • During the summer of 1999 he launched Boise, Idaho’s first Multiple Sclerosis 150 charity ride and continued to be involved as chairman of the board for the following two years. Outside of NWVS, Darren spends as much time as possible riding around the Pacific Northwest with friends either by bicycle or any number of his vintage motorcycles educating people on the sport of two wheels. Darren’s passion runs deep and so does his commitment to the industry.

Kelly Fischer

Kelly Fischer
Washington, Northern Idaho, Montana

  • A Minnesota native, Kelly is an enthusiastic new comer to the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies. Growing up there were always bikes involved. With access to the river bottoms and gravel pits of his home town, Kelly was trail riding on ten speeds long before there were mountain bikes available. Kelly also enjoys river running, skiing and riding his old Triumph in nice weather.

  • Kelly spent most of his sales career on the east coast traveling the Mid-Atlantic region. He represented top selling brands in the paddle sports industry and worked with a host of successful dealerships from Maryland to Maine. Much of the time his rig would include his mountain bike kit allowing him to explore many of the East Coast’s best mountain bike destinations. His background allows him to draw on a wide array of customer service, sales and problem solving experience that is a great asset to our agency.

  • Aside from traveling and brands sales, Kelly enjoys his family time. He and Christine have three children. The two older ones live in the Teton area and are outdoor enthusiasts as well, which keeps Kelly on the go.

Brian Schiller

Brian Schiller
Idaho, Montana, Wyoming

  • Brian’s career is rooted in a lifelong "life on two wheels" philosophy. From his early days in a Wisconsin bike and ski shop to managing a top-tier bike and ski department in Missoula, Montana, Brian’s move into outside sales was a natural evolution of his deep retail and technical roots. That proactive energy has defined his 30 years of successfully navigating the PNW territory.

  • While he is a veteran of the outdoor industry, Brian stays at the forefront of the sport, having raced everything from MTB and Road to Cyclocross. Whether it has pedals or a motor, Brian’s at home on anything with two wheels. When he is not helping his dealers grow through technical expertise and strategic business insights, you will find him in Idaho, chasing the seasons on skis or bikes with his wife Julie.
